SQE1 tests functioning legal knowledge (FLK). The exam has two parts – FLK1 and FLK2. SQE1 takes place over two non-consecutive days, and both FLK1 and FLK2 are single best answer multiple-choice tests.<\/p>\n

The first stage, SQE1, covers \u201cfunctioning legal knowledge\u201d. It tests not just your knowledge of the law, but how you would apply it in real-life situations as a solicitor.<\/p>\n
